T minus 14 days....

Figured I'd better add a blog about the new guy. We're down to two weeks, and I'm pretty excited to meet him. We're still holding out for Texas Ranger to complete our Chuck Norris matched set. Maybe when we meet him we'll decide on something different... :)

I'm still feeling pretty good (but huge).

I took Walker to the nursery at the hospital and we talked about picking up his new baby there. He was pretty excited. Today he told my belly to "Hurry UP!"

Santa is not cool...

Christmas this year was a blast because Walker understood the concept a little better. He did not, however, want to hang out with Santa at all.

So he spent Christmas Eve waiting for the reindeer...in the hopes they were a little less scary than the man in the red suit.

He ended up being okay with the presents Santa left for him, and enjoyed his new train table to the fullest.

Trick or treat...

We went to Aunt Jill's for Halloween. Walker made it through the circle to about 4 houses and decided that was enough for him. He was a trooper and kept his costume on the whole time (and even during dinner after). Chris dubbed him "Walkerious Maximus" for the evening.

The Pumpkin Patch

Walker got to pick out his own pumpkin this year. We picked a mommy pumpkin, a daddy pumpkin and a baby pumpkin. The tractors were the highlight of the trip though....

So far the weather's stayed nice enough that they're not rotting on the porch. Hopefully Chris will let us carve them up and make a mess this year....

Fall Camping!

Four days in Flaming Gorge. (Thomas's secret spot)

We've decided this is the only way to go. Sunny and 65 degrees, cool enough at night to need a fire, no bugs....
There is the small matter of going on the opening weekend of the deer hunt. The littlest Ras spent a LOT of time in Orange. He was a pretty good sport about the vest, but the hat hit the dirt quite a bit with an adamant "All done!"

Jen got to try her hand at dirtbikes. And managed not to kill herself (she only killed the engine once, and that was on a difficult-turn-around maneuver.) Chris and Walker followed in the Rhino, lest she hit a tree.
(and for the littlest Ras on the way....well, sorry I've turned you in to an adrenaline junkie so early)
I think this may be our last camping trip of the season...but we've ended on a great note.

Oh...and Jen made some killer chili - - and Chris spent the weekend trying to kill her with the fumes! There will be no more chili cookouts near open flames!!!
